Understanding cultural differences can be the difference between a successful and unsuccessful business meeting or trip. It can also mean that a holiday can be fully enjoyed.

Whilst our focus is on the professional teaching of Mandarin Chinese, the thing that sets us apart from others is that we can also teach you the cultural differences that you need to be aware of, in both business or daily life. This can make your Chinese language learning all the more reqarding.

We believe that knowing the culture of the country is just as important as knowing the language itself. Without this knowledge you will not know the true meanings when someone says or does something.

The importance of Mandarin Chinese in the modern World cannot be denied. According to "The 21st Century World" published by The Independent in October 2005, Chinese Mandarin is the most commonly spoken language in the World and is spoken by 13.69% of the World's population - English comes 3rd with 4.84%.

We understand learning a new language requires continuious practice, therefore, as well as providing group classes, we also provide on-line lessons to help you. You can continue learning wherever and whenever you want - we would like to see your Mandarin ability increasing even after your course has ended!

We also hold special courses on Chinese National holidays!

In Chinese culture, food is always involved! Throughout the year we arrange special events that combine this love of food with language learning and fun.
